OAR 437-007-0535: Vehicle Passenger Compartments

(1) Floors and decks must be suitable for safe footing. (2) All openings between enclosed passenger compartments and engine or exhaust from which fumes or gases may enter must be effectively sealed. (3) Enclosed passenger compartments must be reasonably dust-proof and watertight. (4) Floors and interior surfaces of passenger compartments must be free of protruding nails, screws, splinters or other objects which might cause injury.
