OAR 839-003-0000: Purpose and Scope

(1) The policy of the State of Oregon guarantees all citizens of the state the right to employment, housing, access to places of public accommodation and private vocational, professional or trade schools without unlawful discrimination. (2) These rules govern the Civil Rights Division procedures for processing all complaints filed with the division. (3) In any matter not governed by these rules, the Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries will exercise discretion under the law.
