Policy and objectives for fish management in Heart Lake of the Klamath River Basin. (1) Policy: Heart Lake shall be managed for hatchery production of rainbow trout and kokanee salmon under the Basic Yield Management Option. (2) Objectives: (a) Provide a consumptive fishery for stocked rainbow trout and kokanee salmon; (b) Protect the genetic integrity of wild redband trout in Fishhole Creek.
