SLR 3-5.045: REFEREES (SPECIAL MASTERS)

In any case involving matters requiring specialized technical expertise, such as business valuation for dissolution of business partnership, parties shall consider the use of referees under ORCP 65 for determination of those matters involving specialized e xpertise. If the use of such referees is not appropriate, the parties shall so advise the court along with the basis for such position.
