OAR 817-005-0020: Duties of Officer

(1) The chairperson must preside at all meetings. The chairperson must confer with the Office on matters that occur between meetings and matters that need to be placed on the Board meeting agendas. The chairperson may order or reorder the agenda. (2) If the chairperson cannot attend a meeting or a portion of the meeting, the Board must vote to elect another Board member to serve as chairperson for the specific meeting. (3) Decisions will be made by a vote of the Board and carried out with a motion and second and vote by majority.
