OAR 740-060-0090: Hourly Rate Distance Moves

If a carrier elects to provide an hourly distance rate, as specified in its tariff, the hourly rate charged for the transit time to and from the move locations are limited to the following; (1) The calculation of time it takes for a carrier to travel from the terminal location to the origin of the move must be determined by Google Map miles or a truck routing and mileage software program using the address to address locations to establish the estimated time of travel to be charged to the shipper. (2) The return trip from the destination of the move to the terminal location must be determined by Google Map miles or a truck routing and mileage software program using the address to address locations to establish the estimated time of travel to be charged to the shipper.
