OAR 635-500-3180: Summit Lake

Policies and objectives for fish management in Summit Lake of the upper Deschutes River Subbasin. (1) Policies for fish management in Summit Lake: (a) Summit Lake shall be managed for natural production of lake trout and mountain whitefish under the Basic Yield Management Alternative in the Trout Plan; (b) Hatchery reared brook and rainbow trout shall be stocked in Summit Lake and managed under the Basic Yield Management Alternative in the Trout Plan; (c) Introduce mountain whitefish from Crescent Lake into Summit Lake. (2) Objectives for fish management in Summit Lake: Provide consumptive angling opportunities for naturally produced lake trout and mountain whitefish and stocked brook and rainbow trout.
