OAR 635-100-0015: Wildlife Diversity Program Objectives

The objectives of the Wildlife Diversity Program are to: (1) Assess, conserve, and enhance wildlife habitats. (2) Assess, conserve, and enhance populations of native species at self-sustaining levels throughout their natural geographic ranges. (3) Provide recreational, educational, aesthetic, scientific, economic and cultural benefits derived from Oregon’s diversity of wildlife. (4) Minimize adverse biological, social and economic impacts resulting from interactions between people and wildlife.
