OAR 635-005-0915: Squid Fishery Defined

“Squid fishery” means the commercial fisheries for squid species in the orders Myopsida, Oegopsida and Sepioidea, including, but not limited to market squid (Loligo opalescens) and Humboldt squid (Dosidicus gigas). Some squid species classified within these orders are managed as Shared Ecosystem Component Species, for which directed fishing is prohibited.
