Compliance with the provisions of these standards shall not excuse failure to comply with provisions of applicable Federal or State laws. These standards shall apply to all recognized varieties of Asian pears including: (1) Non-russeted types such as Nijisseiki, Shinseiki, Ya Li. (2) Partially russeted types such as Kosui, Kikusui, Tsu Li (California origin). (3) Complete russeted types such as Hosui, Chojuro, Japanese Golden Russet.
