OAR 603-012-0001: Definitions

As used in OAR 603-012-0003 to 603-012-0027: (1) “Form 1-27” is a document prescribed by the Department which includes the description and identification of livestock, the name of the buyer of the livestock, the destination of the livestock for slaughter, and an acknowledgment from the designated slaughtering establishment that the described livestock had been received. (2) “Slaughtering establishment” means an establishment as defined in ORS 603.010(5), required to be licensed under ORS 603.025(4)(c) or (d).
