(1) A groom assists the trainer or assistant trainer in the care of a racehorse. (2) A groom may assist the trainer or assistant trainer in the paddock. (3) A groom may be the trainer’s or assistant trainer’s authorized representative in the test barn. (4) A groom must be employed and on a trainer’s list of employees.
