OAR 309-060-0165: Administration of Medication

(1) Medication may not be dispensed or administered by CBSH staff. Medication may only be self-administered by the resident prescribed the medication. (2) CBSH staff may provide medication support to a resident in the self-administration of medication provided that the resident requests such assistance. (3) Medications prescribed for one resident may not be administered to or self-administered by another resident or CBSH program staff. (4) No prescription drugs shall be stored in common areas of the CBSH facility. (5) Self-Administered medications must be stored securely in the residents room to whom the medication is prescribed.
