OAR 291-048-0230: Evaluation Criteria for Admission to Mental Health Special Housing

An adult in custody that, in the judgment of Behavioral Health Services, meets one or more of the following conditions because of a mental illness should be considered for admission to mental health special housing: (1) A danger to others; (2) A danger to self ; (3) Unable to care for their own basic needs; (4) Significant functional impairment ; or (5) Needs a diagnostic evaluation or medication adjustment.
