OAR 291-046-0085: Administrative Housing Release

(1) Voluntary Assignment: Inmates who voluntarily requested to be assigned to administrative housing will be reassigned to the general population upon request, but only after staff have had adequate time to determine proper placement and transfer to general population. (2) Involuntary Assignment: Inmates involuntarily assigned to administrative segregation or protective custody will be reassigned to the general population once their involuntary timeframe has been completed, but the assignment shall not exceed 180 days without due process.
