OAR 291-013-0080: Reactive Use of Force

(1) Reactive use of force will be allowed for situations where time and circumstances do not permit prior approval by a supervisor, consultation or planning. (2) Employees may use any available equipment or weapons to prevent the loss of life or serious bodily injury, if no other reasonable alternative or time is available.
