OAR 137-079-0110: Authority and Purpose

These rules set out guidelines for the operation of the Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) set forth in ORS 192.820 through 192.868. This includes the designation of Application Assistants; the application process to participate in the ACP; the certification of a program participant; ongoing participation and termination of participation in the ACP; the responsibility of public agencies to use the substitute address provided by the ACP; conditions under which a participant’s actual address may be disclosed or participation in the ACP may be verified; service of process on a participant; and other aspects of program operation.
